General questions
How much does house cleaning cost in Maryland and Washington, DC?
Price depends on square footage, the number of bathrooms, the current condition of the home, and the type of service. A standard cleaning of a small condo costs less than a first-time deep clean of a four-bedroom house. Request a free quote and you will receive a specific price for your home rather than an hourly estimate that changes later.
How do I book a cleaning?
Request a free quote online or call 301-818-3448. Once you approve the price, you choose a date and we confirm the arrival window. Booking online takes about a minute.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Most clients provide entry instructions — a lockbox code, a key, or building concierge details — and come home to a finished house. You are welcome to be present if you prefer.
Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?
Yes. Every cleaner is background-checked, insured, and trained before working in a client's home.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes, our teams arrive with everything needed for the visit. If you prefer specific products for your surfaces, leave them out and we will use them.
Are your products safe for children and pets?
Yes. We use products appropriate for occupied homes and can adjust to fragrance-free or specific product requests when you tell us in advance.
What if I have pets at home?
Pets are welcome to stay. Let us know about them when booking so the team arrives prepared, and secure any animal that is anxious around visitors.
How far in advance should I book?
One to two weeks is comfortable for most requests. End-of-month move-out cleans and December deep cleans fill earliest, so book those sooner.
What is your cancellation policy?
Let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we will reschedule at no charge. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a fee because the time was reserved for you.
How do I pay?
You receive a clear, upfront price before the visit and an invoice afterward. There are no surprise charges added after the clean.
What if I'm not satisfied with the cleaning?
Tell us within 24 hours and we will come back to address anything that was missed. Your feedback also updates the notes for your home so it does not happen again.
Which areas do you serve?
Prince George's, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, Howard, and Charles Counties in Maryland, plus Washington, DC.
Do you clean businesses as well as homes?
Yes. We provide office and light commercial cleaning for small suites, studios, and retail spaces, typically outside business hours.
Can I get the same cleaner every visit?
We keep the same lead cleaner assigned to recurring clients whenever scheduling allows, so your home stays familiar to the team.
Standard House Cleaning questions
What is included in a standard house cleaning?
A standard cleaning covers kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas: surfaces wiped, bathrooms cleaned and disinfected, dusting of reachable surfaces, floors vacuumed and mopped, and trash removed. Deeper items like inside the oven or refrigerator are available as add-ons.
How long does a house cleaning take?
Typically two to four hours. Larger homes, homes with more bathrooms, and first-time visits usually take longer.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many clients provide entry instructions and return to a finished home. You are welcome to be there if you prefer.
Do cleaners bring their own supplies?
Yes — our team arrives with the supplies and equipment needed for a standard visit. If you would like us to use specific products you keep at home, just let us know.
How often should I schedule a house cleaning?
Most households do well with bi-weekly service. Larger families, homes with pets, or high-traffic households often prefer weekly, while smaller or lightly used homes are comfortable monthly.
Recurring Cleaning questions
How often should a home be professionally cleaned?
Bi-weekly suits most households. Weekly works well for larger families, homes with pets, or anyone who wants the home consistently guest-ready. Monthly is a good fit for smaller homes or lighter use.
Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring service?
Often yes, if the home has not been professionally cleaned in a while. The first visit resets the home so later visits can stay efficient. We will tell you honestly whether it is needed.
Can I skip or reschedule a visit?
Yes. Travel, holidays, and busy weeks happen — just give us reasonable notice and we will move your visit.
Will I have the same cleaner each time?
We keep your lead cleaner consistent whenever scheduling allows, which is one of the main advantages of recurring service.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. You can change frequency or stop service at any time.
Deep Cleaning questions
What is the difference between a standard cleaning and a deep cleaning?
A standard cleaning maintains a home that is already in good shape: surfaces, bathrooms, and floors. A deep cleaning adds detailed, hands-on work — baseboards, vents, blinds, grout, cabinet fronts, and built-up residue — and takes considerably longer.
How often should a home be deep cleaned?
Once or twice a year for most homes on recurring service, and as a first visit whenever a home has gone six months or more without professional cleaning.
How long does a deep clean take?
Usually four to eight hours depending on size and condition. We will give you a time range with your quote.
Does a deep clean include inside the oven and refrigerator?
Those are add-ons rather than standard inclusions, so you only pay for them when you want them. Just add them when you request your quote.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Picking up loose clutter and clearing counters lets the team spend their time on detail work instead of tidying. Nothing else is required.
Move-In Cleaning questions
What is the difference between move-in and move-out cleaning?
The scope is similar — both are detailed cleans of an empty property. A move-out clean is aimed at a landlord or buyer inspection and deposit return. A move-in clean is aimed at making the space healthy and comfortable for you before your belongings arrive.
Should I schedule the cleaning before or after the movers?
Before, whenever possible. An empty home lets us clean inside closets, cabinets, and corners that furniture blocks.
Do you clean inside the appliances?
Yes. For move-in cleans, the oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher interiors are part of the standard scope.
Can you clean an apartment before I get the keys?
Only with authorization from the landlord or property manager to access the unit. Many property managers are happy to arrange it.
How soon should I book?
As soon as your closing or lease start date is set. Move dates cluster at the end of the month, so early booking gets better time slots.
Move-Out Cleaning questions
Do you offer move-out cleaning?
Yes — move-out cleaning is one of our most requested services across Maryland and Washington, DC, for renters, homeowners, landlords, and agents.
Will a move-out clean get my deposit back?
We clean to the standard landlords and property managers inspect against, which removes cleaning as a reason for a deduction. Deposit decisions also account for damage and wear, which cleaning cannot address.
Does the property need to be empty?
Ideally yes. An empty property lets us clean inside cabinets, closets, and behind where furniture stood. We can work around a few remaining items if needed.
Is inside the oven and refrigerator included?
Yes. For move-out cleans, appliance interiors are part of the standard scope.
How far in advance should I book?
Two weeks is comfortable, especially for end-of-month dates when demand is highest.
Apartment Cleaning questions
Do you clean apartments?
Yes. Apartments, condos, and townhomes are a large part of our work throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.
Can you clean a studio or one-bedroom?
Absolutely. Smaller units are quick, and many clients pair them with bi-weekly recurring service.
Do you handle building access requirements?
Yes. Give us the entry instructions, concierge details, and parking notes and we will follow them each visit.
Can my landlord book cleaning for my unit?
Yes. We work with landlords and property managers on occupied maintenance cleans and vacant turnovers.
Do you offer move-out cleaning for apartments?

Airbnb & Short-Term Rental Cleaning questions
Do you clean Airbnb and short-term rentals?
Yes. We handle turnovers for Airbnb, Vrbo, corporate, and mid-term rentals across Maryland and Washington, DC.
Can you do same-day turnovers?
Yes, within the checkout-to-check-in window. Give us your standard checkout time and we will schedule around it.
Do you handle laundry?
We can wash and dry on site if the unit has a washer and dryer, or work with a linen rotation you supply. Off-site laundry is available as an add-on.
Will you tell me if a guest damaged something?
Yes. We report damage, missing items, and low supplies after every turnover, with photos when helpful.
Do you manage multiple properties for one host?
Yes. Several of our clients run multiple listings and we coordinate turnovers across them.
Office Cleaning questions
Do you clean offices after business hours?
Yes. Most of our office clients are serviced in the evening, early morning, or on weekends so the workday is never interrupted.
How often should an office be cleaned?
Client-facing offices usually do best with two to five visits per week. Smaller or lower-traffic suites are often fine with weekly service.
Do you restock restroom supplies?
Yes, either from your stock or as a purchasing add-on.
Can you provide proof of insurance to our building?
Yes. We can supply documentation for building management on request.
Do you clean medical or dental offices?
We provide general office cleaning for practices. Specialized regulated waste handling is not part of our scope.
Light Commercial Cleaning questions
What counts as light commercial cleaning?
Smaller commercial spaces — retail, studios, salons, clinics, community rooms, and small multi-tenant buildings — rather than industrial sites or large facilities.
Can you clean during business hours?
Yes, if that suits your operation. Many clients prefer before opening or after closing.
Do you offer daily service?
Yes, for spaces with high traffic. We also handle several-times-weekly, weekly, and event-based schedules.
How is commercial cleaning priced?
By square footage, frequency, and scope of work. We provide a written quote after a walkthrough or floor-plan review.
Do you clean after events?
Yes. Post-event resets for community rooms, studios, and retail spaces are available on request.
Post-Construction Cleaning questions
What does post-construction cleaning include?
Removal of fine construction dust from all surfaces, residue and sticker removal, vent and fixture detailing, window tracks and glass, cabinet interiors, and a full floor clean — usually in multiple passes.
How is it different from a deep clean?
A deep clean addresses household buildup. Post-construction cleaning addresses drywall dust and building residue, which is finer, more widespread, and requires repeated passes and different methods.
When should the clean be scheduled?
After the final trade has finished. Cleaning before punch-list work is complete usually means paying for it twice.
Do you remove construction debris?
We remove residual debris and can coordinate hauling as an add-on. Large-volume demolition debris should be handled by your contractor's disposal service.
Can you clean after a partial renovation?
Yes. Single-room renovations such as kitchens and bathrooms are common, including the surrounding rooms where dust travelled.
